Heat Scheduling - RacePro 1.1
Heat scheduling is the process of figuring which racers face each other in each heat. There are two options for doing this: Having RacePro generate a schedule or importing your own schedule.
To import your own schedule, you must first create one in the ScheduleMaker.exe program included with RacePro. Once you have created it, save it and click the browse button under import schedule to load it.
To have RacePro generate a schedule(recommended), select 'Generate schedule'. There are three types of schedules RacePro can generate: Lane Rotation, Stearns, and Perfect-N.
- Lane Rotation - Every racer races in each lane a given number of times.
- Stearns - Every racer races in each lane a given number of times and do not race in consecutive heats(if possible).
- Perfect-N - Every racer races in each lane a given number of times and do not race in consecutive heats(if possible). Also, racers race other racers an equal number of times. This is the best method for most races.
